Monday 4th March 2013

Monday 3rd March
This weekend we lost 2-1 against Adarve (Madrid). [im not going to go into the game] The manager finally came into football angry at our latest performaces. I say finally beacuse i feel he should have had this attitude a long time ago. Insted he would come in and tell everyone good things when they were nonexistent. I mean weve got 1 point out of a possible 24. Its terrible. He ended by sayin that he who didnt train hard and he whos attitude wasnt up to scratch would leave the training session. To be honest im actually happy with all this. It should have happend weeks ago.

We started the session in the gym  then we did rondos, a passing warm up and ended the session with a game.

In the rondos i went in 5 times opposed to the 6 times from last friday. I know its kinda unrealistic but i want to get it down. I know that its not always your fault that u go in but i want to get my mistake ratio down to none.

The game was really good. I set myself some goals: 15 touches of the ball (always ending in a pass or something. If i lose the ball it doesnt count) and 4 shots on goal. I managed to get onto the ball 19 times in the game and had 3 shots 1 of them being a goal. Im happy to have gone past my 1st objective but i still need to be able to go far past but as ill need to start adding more objectives. As ive only just started using this method i have started with just a few 'easy' objectives. The game ended 3-2 my team winning. I generally felt good in the game, stong fast and skillful. My new objective sistem really brings me in to the game and keeps me constantly busy giving me no time to drift out of the game.

I stayed on the field after and practiced shots, dribbling, free kicks, chest controls and ball control. Afterwards i headed back down to the gym. Chest press (27'5kg, 25kg, 20kg, 15kg), bicep curls (12'5kg 24 reps) tricep (25kg, 3 sets of 12 reps) and finished off with core strength.
